Advice and practical tips for parents to ensure their child reaches their full potential and has a brighter future ahead of them

Do you want your child to do better than you did in life and ensure they don’t make the same mistakes, which once you made when it came to handling life’s challenges that were thrown at you?   I’m sure as parents we all want the best possible future for our kids and we go a long way and exhaust all our efforts to provide our kids with the opportunities and resources they need to develop and grow.   However sometimes because of life’s hustle and bustle and especially living in a time where there is so much going on in our lives, extreme amounts of workload that is weighing on our backs, we can often lose focus off our children.   Living in a fast paced work environment can mean that most of the time we often fail to give our attention and time to our kids. As parents we start relying and depending on other people and organisations to shape our children’s future, so the perception that the child will have about life is through the lens of school education and society.   I am not criticising the school system in anyway and I feel the school system plays a very important role in developing and providing key skills to our children. However alongside the school system, we as parents also need to play an active role in helping our kids develop essential life skills that in most cases are not taught in the public school curriculum.   Spending Quality Time   Parents need to provide that extra leverage and support by setting aside some time for their kids so they can have a daily if not a weekly one to one discussion and give them quality time in a friendly manner. During this time the parents should openly ask their child if they have any weaknesses or struggling in any aspect that you can help them with.   This should be a time where the parent and child are fully engaged and the parent should use this time where they can help their child to develop key skills and a positive outlook on life to tackle any life situation they can face in the future.   One of the resources parents can use is an online platform called kidbizo, where the parent and child can work on fun and exciting kidbizo projects. This online platform provides kids with strengths such as building a powerful mindset, maths skills, self-confidence, and situation handling.   Growth and Self-Development   Technology and electronic gadgets have become a must want trend in todays youth. A lot of the younger generation spend a lot of their hours on playing video games, social media sites, and watching TV to the point where they are completed hooked on to these things and find it extremely difficult to minimise this addiction and to manage their time to other important aspects such as growth and self development.   Due to not having the skills to manage their [...]

Kid Entrepreneur Academy Summer Camp Manor Park Slough

With the summer holidays upon us once more, how are we going to keep our kids entertained until it’s time to go back to school? Outside of any family holidays do we just sit them down in front of their games console, or take them out to Manor Field to pass the time playing in the park? There is time for playing and other forms of entertainment, but ideally we should use a small portion of this time to try to improve their future prospects and help them on the road to success. As many of us know, working hard for a living can be a real grind and living pay day to pay day is not a happy existence, so anything we can do to help our kids avoid this is worth its weight in gold. Well there is a solution that helps deal with both these issues. What if our kids could spend a little bit of time now to invest in their future and help them to grow up to be their own boss and avoid the rat race. The Kidbizo kid entrepreneur academy summer camp in Manor Park can help do just that, it teaches kids useful skills and life lessons to help them grow in confidence and understand about business from an early age, all in a fun and engaging way. The aim of the camp and of the Kidbizo program in general is to help kids win at the game of life, so that they don’t end up a slave to the system, working a 9-5 job that they don’t enjoy. If we can help our kids learn how to turn ideas into businesses, situation handling skills and improve their confidence and self esteem from an early age, then we will exponentially increase their chances of running their own successful businesses and making their own way in the World. Currently there aren’t any organisations offering business training for kids in Manor Park, or in Slough in general. Of course, you have the local schools, such as Godolphin and Bayliss Court, as well as tutoring companies such as Ali’s Academy which are great at helping with academic studies, but nothing to give your kid that extra edge to help succeed in business and in life. As well as business training there is also practical support given to start a business for your kid and support them all the way. The Kidbizo program was put together by highly successful entrepreneurs as they realised the need to pass on the valuable information they had learned through their journey to success, to their children and realised these things just aren’t taught in schools. As well as looking at how to succeed at running your own business they also cover what pitfalls to avoid, so your kids have a greater understanding of what to do and what not to do. Parents are also involved in the program and can learn in the same way as the kids and can [...]
